The Hydrafacial Procedure

The Hydrafacial procedure is made up of three steps, and all are done using a specialized wand. It begins with cleansing and exfoliating your skin with a gentle peel to reveal a new layer of skin hiding underneath the dead skin cells and dirt on the surface. The exfoliation is done using water pressure and a textured wand tip. Chemical exfoliation is also part of this step and uses glycolic or salicylic acid. 

The next step is to extract any impurities by using suction, which also improves circulation in the skin. Finally, moisturizers and serums are applied to the skin to saturate it with hydration.

In total, the whole treatment takes about 30-90 minutes, depending on your skin concerns. It’s completely pain-free and comes with no downtime.

Aftercare

After a Hydrafacial treatment, you will notice immediate results. Your skin will look and feel smoother, softer, and more hydrated. You may notice some slight redness or puffiness, but that is temporary. You can return to your normal routine immediately. You will want to avoid exfoliating treatments for the first few days after a Hydrafacial and make sure to wear sunscreen to protect your skin. Makeup can be worn 24 hours after your treatment.
