Injectables & Fillers

Injectables and fillers can work wonders to diminish fine lines and wrinkles and plump up areas that have lost volume as you’ve gotten older. And as a non-invasive, non-surgical procedure, you don’t have to worry about any downtime. These simple treatments can provide life-changing results in only a few days.

What Are the Injectables and Fillers At Dr. Andrews Plastic Surgery?

We offer a variety of injections and dermal fillers at Dr. Andrews Plastic Surgery. We provide two neuromodulators, Botox and Dysport, that block the nerve signals from the brain to the muscles of the face, smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles.

We also have a variety of dermal fillers, including Juvederm and Restylane. They are injected in specific treatment areas to address volume loss in the face.

Who is a Good Candidate For Injectables and Fillers?

Injectables and fillers are suitable for almost everyone, but there are some qualifications you’ll want to consider before receiving treatment, including the following:

  • Are you physically healthy?
  • Are you a nonsmoker?
  • Do you have realistic expectations?
  • Are you experiencing volume loss?
  • Are you experiencing fine lines and wrinkles, or deep creases around the face?

If you answered yes to most of all of these questions, you’re likely a good candidate for injectables and fillers. To find out more about if you’re a good candidate for injectables and fillers, schedule a consultation with Dr. Andrews today!

PROCEDURE ANIMATIONS

Injectables and Fillers Procedure

The injectables and fillers process is relatively simple. Topical anesthetic can be applied, but most patients tolerate any discomfort well without the need for anesthetic.

The treatment consists of Dr. Andrews injecting Botox, Dysport, or the dermal filler that’s right for you into the treatment area to address your aesthetic concerns. The whole treatment session shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes. And with very little downtime, you can return to work or your routine right away.

Aftercare

After getting injectable neuromodulators or dermal fillers, you can go back to your normal activities immediately. That said, you will want to avoid touching or massaging your face so the treatment works effectively and doesn’t spread. You’ll also want to avoid strenuous activities for a few days after treatment and avoid laying on the treatment area.

With Botox and Dysport, you will start to see results in a week or more, and with dermal fillers, you will see some results immediately, while the final results can take a few weeks to show up as the fillers settle.
